Welcome

Stafford Boat Club

Situated on the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal, about a two hours cruise from Tixall Lock, Stafford Boat Club nestles in the picturesque Penk Valley overlooking the wetlands and is in the centre of some of the best cruising on the system.

Stafford Boat Club is a registered Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) and is a not for profit organisation.

Our membership is open to all regardless of sex, age, disability, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, religion or other beliefs, except as a necessary consequence of the requirements off boating.

Our members have first hand experience of the local waterways. So if you need advice on cruising any of the local canals and rivers, this is the place to come.

You will always be made to feel welcome.

Please note;

SBC is run by volunteer members and service offering changes with volunteer availability.

The water in the arm is private and not controlled by CRT.

Winding of boats is restricted to members and booked approved visitor boats only. This is due to recurrent damage to boats moored in the arm and silting.

Charges apply for all services including but not limited to water, elsan disposal, pump out, mooring, refuse, electrical connection etc.

Water is available to all boaters for a minimum payment of £2, providing a SBC member is available.
